R-Tech was called upon to work with Jacobs to design a steam boiler from P&IDs, to providing production drawings and ISOs.

The boiler was heated by burners made of SEECO. The water circulated through the boiler housing to reach steam temperature.

It was a challenge at the time when the piping was pressurized and the action of heat was created. This was because there had to be a design for both expansion loops and piping supports.

In addition, we had to perform and design expansion calculations, of course within the customer's specifications.



As soon as the design was approved by the client, R-Tech moved on to the construction phase and was followed up with the necessary coordination meeting, pressure tests and handover documents.
